Sales funnel development

We map the buyer's journey from first contact to payment: stages, messages, responsible people and the rules for handing enquiries from marketing to sales. This shows where customers stall and who is responsible for what.

What sales funnel development means at Eqvola

A funnel describes how someone moves from discovering your business to purchasing, and what the business does at each stage. We record stages, progression criteria, messages and responsibilities.

We work with the actual process rather than a generic diagram. We talk to marketing and sales, review enquiries and correspondence, and identify where enquiries get lost or wait too long for a response.

The deliverable is an agreed process map and rules the team can use. Configuring CRM stages and automated sequences are separate technical services provided by Eqvola's automation team or your specialists.

A funnel does not replace the product or salespeople's work. It reveals exactly where customers drop out; we decide on changes together, based on data.

When you need this service

01 /

Enquiries get lost between marketing and sales

We agree what constitutes a qualified enquiry, who receives it and how quickly they respond.

02 /

Each salesperson sells differently

We define shared stages and messages so customers receive consistent communication regardless of the salesperson.

03 /

It is unclear where customers drop out

We define stages and statuses that make this visible in the data.

04 /

You plan to implement a CRM

We first describe the process so the system can fit real work, rather than forcing work to fit the system.

05 /

Complex sales involving several conversations

We identify which materials and messages are needed between first contact and the customer's decision.

HOW WE WORK

How the work progresses

You provide access to the process and its people; we document the funnel and agree it with your team.

  1. 01

    Understand the process

We talk to those responsible for acquisition and sales and examine real enquiries. Deliverable: a description of how things work now.

  2. 02

    A draft funnel

We propose stages, progression criteria, messages and responsibilities. Deliverable: a process map for team discussion.

  3. 03

    Agreeing the rules

We agree the definition of a qualified enquiry, handover procedures and rejection reasons. Deliverable: rules understood by both marketing and sales.

  4. 04

    Preparation for implementation

We define requirements for the CRM, automations and reports. Eqvola's automation team or your specialists carry out the setup.

  5. 05

    Data-based review

After launch, we examine where customers stall and propose changes to stages or messages.

How does a funnel differ from CRM implementation?

A funnel defines how sales should work: stages, rules and messages. CRM implementation configures the system for that process. It is better to begin with the process and configure the system around it.

We do not have a CRM. Can we start without one?

Yes. A funnel can be documented and managed even in a spreadsheet. Once the process settles, it becomes clearer which system and configuration you need.

Will you sell instead of our salespeople?

No. We document the process and prepare rules and messages. Customer conversations and closing deals remain your team's work.

Will a funnel increase sales?

We cannot promise that: sales depend on the product, price, demand and salespeople's work. A funnel makes the process visible and helps identify where customers are lost so those points can be improved.

Is this suitable for B2B sales?

Yes. B2B funnels are usually more complex: several people make the decision and deals take longer. We give particular attention to the materials and messages between stages. All questions and answers
