What advertising and print design mean at Eqvola

We create designs for advertising, presentations and print to suit a specific task and format, from a social media creative to a catalogue or exhibition banner. We design, adapt to required sizes and prepare files for publication or printing.

We work in your brand's style. If brand guidelines exist, we follow them. If not, we create a basic visual treatment or suggest starting with brand identity.

You provide copy and photos, or commission them separately. Designs use the materials you supply. Missing copy or images can be commissioned separately.

Printing is separate; files are prepared for your printer. Printing and production are not included, but we prepare files to your printer's technical specifications.

We agree the number of adaptations and revisions at the start, so you know in advance what the price includes.

When you need advertising and print design

01 /

A design is needed by a specific date

The campaign launches on Monday, the exhibition is in two weeks, the opening is on Friday. You need designs ready on time without surprises.

02 /

You have a style but no designer

Brand guidelines exist, but employing an in-house designer for a few designs each month makes little sense.

03 /

You need creatives in many sizes

One creative needs six sizes: feed, stories, banner and cover. Preferably without manual edits until midnight.

04 /

The presentation explains but does not sell

A slide with twelve points in tiny type rarely persuades. We restructure the presentation so the main point is immediately clear.

05 /

The printer returns files: “Wrong format”, “No bleed”, “The colours will shift”.

We prepare files so the printer can accept them the first time.

How we work on designs

First, where will people see the material? A poster is seen from five metres away, a feed creative for half a second, a catalogue over coffee. This determines font size, text length and emphasis.

The main point is clear in seconds. Headline, offer, action. Everything else is for interested readers who continue.

The main version comes first, then adaptations. We approve the primary design before adapting it to other sizes, so revisions need not be repeated in every version.

Files meet technical requirements. For print, we account for bleed, printing colour requirements and image quality. For online use, we follow the size and format requirements of advertising platforms.

We follow your brand guidelines. Colours, fonts and visual elements follow your brand's rules so that every piece of material looks like it comes from the same company.

HOW WE WORK

How we develop the designs

  1. 01

    Brief

    We clarify what you need, where the material will be used, the sizes and deadline, and which copy and images are already available. Outcome: a clear brief and cost estimate.

  2. 02

    First version

    We prepare the master design. Outcome: a design to discuss.

  3. 03

    Revisions

    We make changes within the agreed number of revision rounds. Outcome: an approved master design.

  4. 04

    Adaptations

    We adapt the approved design to every required size and medium. Outcome: a complete set of versions.

  5. 05

    File preparation and handover

    We prepare the files for print or publication and hand them over. Outcome: files ready to send to print or upload to your advertising account.

    Meet the team

What we need from you

  • brand guidelines, or at least a logo, colours and fonts;
  • copy for the design, or commission it separately;
  • photos or images, or commission a shoot;
  • technical specifications from the printer or advertising platform;
  • sizes and formats;
  • a deadline;
  • the person responsible for approving the design.

The more complete the brief, the fewer revisions and the sooner the result.

Formats and pricing

01

A single design, a campaign package or ongoing design support

A single design. One piece of material for a specific task.

A campaign or event package. A coordinated set of creative assets, banners and printed materials.

02

What determines the cost

  • the number of designs and adaptations;
  • complexity: for example, a multi-page catalogue or packaging;
  • urgency;
  • the number of revision rounds.
03

What is paid for separately

Printing and production, copywriting, shoots, stock images and paid fonts. We agree these costs in advance.

Is printing included?

No. Printing and production are not included, but we prepare files to your printer's specifications so they can be accepted first time.

Can you work without a brand identity?

Yes. We can develop a basic visual treatment for a specific piece. If you need many designs, it is better to establish a brand identity first so all materials are consistent. Logo, visual identity and rebranding

Will you prepare files for our printer?

Yes. Send us your printer's specifications and we will prepare the files accordingly. If none are available, we will use standard print specifications and advise what to confirm with the printer. All questions and answers
