Logo, visual identity and rebranding

We create logos and visual brand systems, and help with rebranding. From initial concepts to brand guidelines and templates that let any designer produce materials that look like your brand, even when encountering it for the first time.

Style grounded in positioningA system with rules, not just a logoTemplates for everyday work

Logo, visual identity, a visual refresh or rebranding: what do you need?

01

Logo

A symbol and a wordmark for the brand name. Suitable when you need a recognisable mark but are not planning to change the rest of the style yet.

02

Visual identity

A brand's visual system: logo, colours, fonts, graphic elements and rules for combining them. Suitable when you want the website, social media, presentations and printed materials to look like one company.

03

Visual refresh

Updating the existing style without changing the brand's essence. We retain what customers recognise and remove what has become outdated. Suitable when the brand still fits but its appearance no longer reflects the business today.

04

Rebranding

A deeper change that often affects positioning, the name and the entire visual style. Suitable when the business has changed significantly, entered a new audience or the old brand is holding back growth. Brand positioning and platform

How we work with visual style

We build on positioning. Style should support who the brand is and whom it serves, rather than simply reflect taste. We therefore begin by understanding the business, not by choosing a colour.

We retain what works. If customers already recognise your colour or symbol, we do not discard it for novelty.

We hand over a system with rules. A logo without guidelines quickly takes on a life of its own. Brand guidelines and templates help keep the style consistent.

Printing, signage and the website are separate. We develop the style and key layouts. Printing, producing physical materials and rebuilding the website are not automatically included.

Trademark registration is separate and is handled by lawyers. We can prepare the files required for the application.

When to create or update your visual identity

01 /

You are creating a new brand

You have a name and the product is almost ready, but it has no visual identity yet. Establishing a system now is better than piecing together a style from unrelated designs later.

02 /

The logo disappears at small sizes

It looked great on a billboard. In a social media avatar, app icon or email on a phone, it becomes an unreadable blur.

03 /

Every designer does things differently

One person made the presentation, another the website, and a third the leaflets. The colours are similar but the fonts differ, and together they do not form one brand.

04 /

The business has changed

A new business area, a merger, a different audience or price range. The old identity describes a company that no longer exists.

05 /

The style looks dated

The materials look as if they were made many years ago. Even if your product is modern, customers may think otherwise.

What the identity includes

01 /

Logo and variations

A primary version and variations for different sizes, backgrounds and formats.

02 /

Colours

Primary and secondary palettes with codes for screens and print.

03 /

Fonts

Fonts for headings and body text, with rules for their use.

04 /

Graphic elements

Shapes, patterns or icons that make the brand recognisable even without its logo.

05 /

Photography and illustration style

Which images suit the brand and which to avoid.

06 /

Examples in use

How the style looks on social media, a web page, in a presentation and on a business card.

07 /

Brand guidelines

A document or brand book with rules for every element and examples of what to do and avoid.

We tailor the scope to the task. A small business can have a compact system that is still coherent.

What you receive

01

Brand guidelines

Rules for using the logo, colours, fonts and graphic elements, with examples.

02

Designs for key applications

Finished designs for the agreed applications.

Printing, production and redesigning every existing material are not included. You can commission these separately or use the brand guidelines to do them yourself.

HOW WE WORK

How identity design works

  1. 01

    Brief and review of the existing identity

    We discuss the business, audience and task, and review current materials and competitors. Outcome: an agreed brief and cost estimate.

  2. 02

    Concepts

    We propose several visual directions and explain what each communicates. You choose one. Outcome: an agreed direction.

  3. 03

    Developing the chosen concept

    We refine the logo, colours, fonts and graphic elements. Outcome: a complete visual system.

  4. 04

    Testing applications

    We show the style on actual applications, from a social media avatar to a presentation or sign. Outcome: confidence that it works wherever needed.

  5. 05

    Brand guidelines and file handover

    We prepare the rules, templates and files and hand them over. Outcome: everything you need to use the identity without us.

How to move to the new style

You do not have to introduce the new style in one day. Start with what most people see, then update the rest gradually.

01

What to update first

Social media, the website, document and presentation templates. These are quick and inexpensive to update, and customers notice immediately.

02

What can change gradually

Signs, packaging and printed materials. These can be updated when old stock runs out or replacement is due.

What we need from you

  • the brand platform or answers to a short brief;
  • the current logo and materials, preferably in their source files;
  • examples of styles you like and dislike;
  • what must be retained;
  • where the style will be used: website, social media, packaging, signs and documents;
  • the person who makes the final decision.

Formats and pricing

01

Logo, identity or rebranding

Logo. A symbol and wordmark with basic usage rules.

Identity. A complete visual system with brand guidelines and templates.

Rebranding. An identity with updated positioning and, where needed, a new name.

02

What determines the cost

  • the number of concepts and revision rounds;
  • the number of applications and templates;
  • the scope of the brand guidelines;
  • whether positioning work is needed first.

FAQ

Questions about logos, identity and rebranding

Can’t find your question?

Send it through the form and we will reply.

Go to form
Can we retain part of our existing style?

Yes. If customers recognise your colour, symbol or font, we do not discard it just for novelty. A refresh is often enough: update what is dated and retain what works.

What is included in introducing the new identity?

Brand guidelines, templates and designs for key applications are included. Website updates, printing and production are separate. We can advise on the order of the transition and carry out the work under a separately agreed scope.

Do we need positioning before identity design?

Ideally, yes. The style should support what the brand stands for. If positioning already exists, we build on it. Otherwise, we start with a short brief or recommend defining the positioning first. Brand positioning and platform

Will you update the website to match the new style?

Yes, if needed, through our development team under a separately agreed scope. Or we can hand the brand guidelines to your developers. Business websitesAll questions and answers
